  • What makes you a sustainable candle company?
    Fenala Candles values our Earth: That's why all of our products, processing, and packaging are upcycled, recycled, compostable, or biodegradable . Our candle containers are upcycled from nonprofit organizations benefitting underserved communities. We do NOT purchase containers in bulk from large manufacturers! We use 100% clean-burning Soy Wax from USA-grown soybeans We use CleanScents Fragrance Oils(TM) that are toxin- and carcinogen-free We are proud that we offer NO plastic packaging and all ecofriendly shipping options (see below). We also will send an EcoEnclose tip card with QR code on how appropriately dispose of your packaging!
  • Where did the name "Fenala" come from?"
    It comes from the Founder's two rescue animals "Fen" the Samoyed dog rescued from SF Samoyed Rescue and "Nala" the calico cat rescued from BARCS in Baltimore, MD. Unfortunately our sweet Nala passed unexpectedly in November 2021 but we will still proudly be making candles in her honor. May you rest in power, Nala bear.
  • What is your shipping policy?
    Enjoy FREE shipping on all orders $50+ ​ Once picked up and scanned in by our carrier, transit times typically range 2-7 business day days, depending on shipping method + delivery destination. You will receive your shipping confirmation email as soon as a label is created for your order, and the tracking status of your shipment may take up to 72 hours once a label has been created. Once shipped, an order's tracking information is outside of our control, and as much as we'd like to be there, final delivery is out of our hands. We cannot replace missing or stolen packages at this time.
  • What is your Return / Refund policy?
    We strive for 100% customer satisfaction, always! If you’re unsatisfied with your product, please contact our Customer Care team at info@fenalacandles.com. If your order arrived damaged or if you're experiencing an issue with your product, please include photos and a detailed description in your email, and we'll get started on your refund ASAP. All returns must be processed within 60 days of receiving your order and require proof of purchase (e.g. order number, order confirmation email, store receipt, etc). ​Because of the nature of each candle being unique, refunds are processed on unused, undamaged products only. Please return your items in the original packaging and ensure that the shipment is carefully packed, as we're unable to process refunds on items that arrive broken. ​Refunds are applied to returned product only and do not cover any original shipping fees. As a small, growing business, we are currently unable to pay for return shipping. Once submitted, refunds typically return to the original payment method within 3-10 business days. ​Exceptions: we do not accept returns or offer refunds on discounted or sale items, including products purchased during a promotion, products purchased using gift cards, or third party products.
